It's Time!
It's time for summer puppies! We have been waiting for Envy to come into season, and we *hope* the time has come. She was at our veterinarian last week for her hip radiographs which looked great and our yearly CERF exams are scheduled for next week. Kip and Envy have both been CERF'd normal in previous exams. We have had lots of interest in this litter, and at this point I will say the litter is spoken for. When a breeding has occurred, I will e-mail all interested parties to find out who wants one of these FABULOUS pups! I will certainly be keeping one of these wonderful babies!

CONGRATULATIONS!
Congratulations are in order for Buck Branch Border Collies! We have had a very exciting couple of weeks with new titles earned and fun times had! Check each dogs page to see what we have been up to! We are back home now and will rest up before our next round of planned events over the remainder of the month. We have flyball, lure coursing and goose chasing planned for March, then a busy schedule planned for April and May. FUN FUN FUN!

Reisen at 12 weeks old
Our little Reisen is turning out to be a fantastic pup! She learns new things very quickly and can currently sit, lie down and has an excellent recall for such a young pup. Food is a big motivator for her, so training her is quick, easy and fun! Reisen has already surpassed my expectations for a pup her age so who knows what the future holds? I look forward to seeing just what little Reisen can do!

OUR NEW ADDITION
We would like to welcome our new pup "Reisen" to Buck Branch Border Collies. This is a wonderful little red merle pup that I had to have for a "reason", hence the name! Reisen's pedigree incorporates almost of of my dogs here at Buck Branch. She is related to Iceman, Tessa, Kipper and Ziva! We are thrilled to this sweet girl with us and thank our friend KATE WOODS for allowing us the opportunity to have her! Reisen has beautiful blue eyes, amazing merle markings and the sweetest disposition you could ask for!

In memory of my Sugar
We had to make the most difficult decision of them all today....to let our ol' lady Sugar go. Only once in a lifetime does a dog like Sugar come along. She was my best friend, my constant companion and the very reason why I love the Border Collie breed. She had the most fabulous life a dog could have.....doing pretty much what she wanted and when she wanted to do it for 15 wonderful years. She will always be in my heart. We will miss her terribly. We can never forget what an important part of our lives she has been. All we can do now is kiss the ones we have and cherish every minute we have with them.

CanAm Flyball
Kip and I are back from Indianapolis and site of the worlds largest flyball tournament! After a few major mishaps, we are home safe and sound with quite the story to tell. Overall, it was an amazing experience to be surrounded by the best of the best in the flyball world and to witness some incredible racing! Thanks to my awesome club GO DOG GO! for allowing us to join them for this trip! Next stop is Blacksburg, Va in just a few weeks.
